a Designer with a Dream!

I’m on a mission to transform the lives of Boss Moms just like you. I help stressed out moms quit their 9-5 and become Savvy Entrepreneurs. Although I may be an innovative designer now, it didn’t start off that way. Keep scrolling and get to know my story.

It all started with a dream

Ever since I was a child, I remember always trying to find a way to add color into the world. From finger painting, to puzzles, to drawing on the walls in my room (no, I didn’t catch a whooping) and even moving around furniture (the interior designer in me). Around middle school age, My mom allowed us to paint our rooms and decorate it how we liked.

My First Job

My very first job was working at the library. Can you believe it!?

Imagine Lil’ ole me stacking books on a shelf and trying to get them organized. I really liked working there because it was peaceful and sometime I really wish I could go back to those slow days where the money didn’t matter. My peace was my upmost priority and honestly, I’m trying to reinvent this version of me in real time.

Not only did I work at a library in high school, but once I graduate, I worked at the campus bookstore in college. When I started college i was ecstatic! I was on my own, living my best life and getting paid every week.

Like seriously, this was a thing! My mind was blown and so was my bank account (but that’s a story for another time).

From Boutique Owner to Web Strategist

My first break into the entrepreneurial space was an online streetwear boutique for sophisticated women.

I know, I know… you’re wondering why I gave that up.

Well, like most entrepreneurs, I transitioned into the online world based on my current skills at the time. I had been in retail for over 10 years, from team member to manager to visual merchandiser. I thought opening my own clothing store was the way to go because it’s what I knew.

When really, the only thing I honestly knew was that I wanted a way to express my creativity and not to play by someone’s else rules.

The Turning Point

Just like you, when 2020 hit, I was filled with a ton of emotions:

  • Is my job going to end?
  • Will I still be able to pay my bills?
  • If I got sick from COVID, what would happen to my family?

I had all the stress and worries just like everyone else as the world shut down right before my eyes.

Never did I ever (in my childhood voice) think I’d experience a disastrous event such as this.

THANKFULLY, my job sold essentials and did not close down or go out of business. Instead, we switched to online orders, and the only people invited into the store were the ones that worked there. Hours were different, we still couldn’t listen to music even though no customers were in the building, and I still didn’t like the feeling of knowing my livelihood depended on someone else’s time and someone else’s dime.

The Ultimate Break: My Journey into Digital Marketing

For the last four years, besides running my own business, I’ve earned my degrees in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Graphic Design. I’ve been blessed with an impactful internship, working as a PM/SMM/Web Designer.

Literally, all the business bucket hats!

I wore them proudly while helping non-profits such as churches, free educational programs, holistic coaches, and other lifestyle leaders build profitable brands and sustainable businesses.

That’s when I decided it was time to close the doors to my online boutique and go all in with helping new entrepreneurs navigate their path to elevating their lifestyle.

Family and Fulfillment

My business is not my baby; that spot is reserved for the future Alicia Keys in the family—my baby girl Audreyale (yes like ginger-ale). If it wasn’t for her, I probably would still be working in my clothing store and stressing out at a 9-5 that gave me anxiety.

Since having my baby, I’ve had the joy of not only becoming a mom but becoming a nutritionist, joker, dancer, healer, gardener, financial expert, and everything I need to keep a smile on my child’s face while filling up her bank account.

If you’re still here, you obviously understand exactly what I’m saying, Sis.

Being a mom is beautiful, and a mother has to do what a mother has to do to feed her child. So why not do it in a way that’s impactful, financially fluent, and filled with joy because you’re finally doing what you love?

Join me in creating generational wealth and filling our buckets with joy for our children. Leave a comment and let me know how you found the right path for journey. And if you’re still looking let me know how I can help you become financial free and stress free will making money in your sleep.

Remember girl, I love you and I’m rooting for you! HMU soon.

See ya later Sis!
